The Downtown Signage Incentive Program is designed to build on the City’s Downtown Façade Improvement Program by providing specific funds for signage improvements. FacadeSignage is a software with the ability of video mapping, and it is one with lots of ease when it comes to using. These funds are available throughout the calendar year on a first-come-first-served basis. The program encourages investment in building upgrades to create streetscapes that attract more people and businesses to the downtown area.Įligible applicants may receive 50% of the total cost of the project, up to $10,000. The Downtown Façade Improvement Program applies to commercial storefronts located within downtown Campbell River (see map linked below), and provides grants to renovate, or redesign commercial building facades according to the Design Guidelines outlined by the City (see Design Guidelines link below).
